On May 21, 2023, we celebrated a momentous occasion in the history of Malabon City. This year’s festivities are bigger than ever, promising an unforgettable celebration for all!
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval has made this anniversary celebration an extraordinary event, filled with joy and unity. The Tambobong Cookfest, where all the participants will show elegance in cooking their dish or food using the main ingredient “labong,”. The Tambobong Indakan, the parade was filled with colorful costumes and full of steps, consisting of various participants from all over Malabon, such as our talented government employees, students, and dance troupes from various schools in the city. The Ginoo at Binibining Malabon, the most talented and beautiful individuals, compete for the coveted titles. This year’s celebration also highlights the remarkable products of each barangay, such as food and bayong bags, highlighting the ingenuity and craftsmanship behind “One Barangay, One Product,” for which Vice President Sara Duterte visited us personally to lead the ribbon-cutting here at City Hall.
As a special treat, numerous celebrities graced the event, making it a star-studded affair. Their presence adds glamour and excitement, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all Malabon residents.
