Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Process remittance of contribution for all Government Statutory Benefits
  • Supervises the recording of financial transactions of the University and gives technical advice on financial and budgetary matters to the President and the Department Heads
  • Assists in the preparation of budget estimates and attends budget hearings
  • Identifies to the correctness of journal vouchers, journals, bills, statement of accounts, trial balances, budget estimates, and other financial statements and records
  • Issue’s certification of availability of funds on expense vouchers and treasury warrants
  • Facilitates distribution of work among subordinates and gives instructions and guidance on work methods and procedures

Head, Budget Department

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Prepares annual, supplemental or special budgets for the University
  • Drafts financial plans and budgetary policies for the University
  • Prepares/consolidates supporting justifications and explanations for budget proposals, reviews budget estimates submitted by units/colleges and assists in conducting hearings for appropriation requests
  • Supervises the control, distribution and allocation of funds and prepares forms, office orders and circulars embodying instructions for budget and appropriation control for the signature of the University President
  • Studies and analyzes reports on status of appropriations and trends of expenditures and prepares necessary budget reports and related statements for top management’s use and for the Department of Budget and Management

Head, Cashier

Qualification Standard:

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Receives, safe keeps, disburses and accounts all monies deposited in the University
  • Prepares payrolls and vouchers and assists in the payment of salaries, wages, and other expenses
  • Prepares reports and accounts for all collections and disbursements
  • Distributes to collecting and disbursing officers cash advances for salaries and wages and reviews statements of current account and replenishment vouchers
  • Attends on claims for and complaints about salary deductions, computations, insurance, bills of accounts and salary loans
  • Supervises and participates in the payment of salaries, wages, and vouchers
  • Verifies the posting of cash advances, disbursements, collections and deposits
  • Releases money orders and signs and endorses commercial checks and warrants
  • Receives collections from lower-level cashiers, deposits collections daily, and notes trends in daily cash position
  • Reviews and signs correspondence pertaining to the office, checks and signs certificates for salary deductions, and attends to employee claims and complaints

Human Resource Management Assistant (Remittance Officer)

Qualifications:

 Responsibilities:

  • To prepare reports relevant to employee attendance, employee benefits.
  • To track and keep records and release notices for changes, deletion, and enrolments related to Statutory Benefits.
  • Process all statutory benefits related requirements, such as:
  • Preparation of Certificate of PHIC Contributions; issuance of PHIC CF1 and/or CSF;
  • Updating records on GSIS, PHIC, and BIR of all regular employees.
  • Preparation of monthly contribution and/or loans remittances on GSIS, PHIC;
  • Endorsing of salary loan applications to GSIS main branch.
  • To perform other HR-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Human Resource Management Assistant (Recruitment and Placement Officer)

Qualifications:

 Responsibilities:

  • Help to manage the candidate database by reflecting selection decisions made by the
  • HR Officer and top management back to the candidates.
  • Assist with the administrative arrangements for the offer of appointment to the chosen
  • candidate including the preparation of the contract of employment and other joiner
  • Advise on a wide range of queries from management, prospective applicants and appointees.
  • Create Personnel Selection Board Minutes and Agenda.
