In light of the surge in temperature caused by climate change and our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, the City of Malabon University (CMU) is implementing the following safety measures for the conduct of face-to-face classes:

1. In the event that the Heat Index reaches 41 degrees Celsius or higher, face-to-face classes will be automatically suspended. Professors are not required to report to CMU, and classes will be shifted to online modality. This decision prioritizes the health and safety of our students and faculty members.

2. Regular face-to-face classes will proceed as scheduled for Heat Index levels of 40 degrees Celsius and below. However, we encourage everyone to stay hydrated, wear appropriate clothing, and take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

These safety measures are essential to mitigate the risks associated with extreme heat and ensure the well-being of our university community. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and adhere to these guidelines for their own safety.
