Today, in a significant move aimed at supporting financially struggling students, the City of Malabon University (CMU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Charity First Foundation. The signing ceremony took place at the CMU conference room, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to uplift students in need.
University President Glen De Leon and Vice President Ma. Salome B. Aguinaldo led the signing of the MOA on behalf of CMU, while Charity First Foundation was represented by Chairman Gregorio Uy, Jr., and President Richard Alviar.
The momentous occasion was attended by key figures including Cristel Trinidad, RSW of Charity First, CMU’s University Secretary Dr. Allie Agustin, and Dr. Marissa C. Florentino, Head of Business Development and Linkage Partnership.

Chairman Uy emphasized that while all students are encouraged to apply for financial assistance, rigorous screening and interviews will be conducted to ensure that the support reaches those most in need. Qualified students will receive meal allowances, transportation support, and access to leadership training programs.
Notably, Charity First Foundation extends its assistance to students from various state and local universities and colleges, further amplifying the impact of this collaboration in the education sector.
