CMU’s Research and Extension Services headed by Prof. Mona Earl Bayono, launched a Community Extension Services project that focuses on providing information about financial literacy yesterday, January 10th, via Zoom.
The College of Business and Accountancy, with Dean Glenn Acadd, spearheaded the virtual talk, themed Financial Literacy: “Gastos mo, Sagot mo.” Residents of Barangay Catmon were chosen as participants for the said event.
The invited guest speaker was Prof. Ogie Boy A. Sanorjo, from College of Business and Accountancy, who discussed about the Guide to Manage Personal Finances and Household Budgeting. It was also attended by our Vice President for Internal Development and External Affairs, and Concurrent University Secretary, Engr. Sheila Ibay-Villanueva.
This initiative is a testament that CMU is not only concerned about the University’s development, but also of its community.
“It is for everyone’s security, it is for our own stability.”
