The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSECE) is a four-year baccalaureate degree in the College of Engineering and Technology. It focuses on the conceptualization, design, and development of electronic, computer, and communication products, systems, services, and processes. Its curriculum is built around a strong basic core of mathematics, physics, and engineering which includes such topics as device physics, device operation, design of integrated circuits, communications and network systems, audio and video processing, robotics, electromagnetics, and antenna systems, and electronic materials to name a few. The Electronics Engineering program provides a framework that will allow the full development of the student in preparation for professional life as an electronics and communications engineer. Instructional facilities enable students to obtain hands-on experience in a variety of courses including electronic circuits, control systems, digital signal processing, microprocessors, and broadcasting and communication systems. It also includes a trimester of integration to prepare would-be graduates for the licensure examinations of Electronics Engineering which are administered by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC).
