Yesterday, fifty (50) moms have officially completed the E-Nanay Program initiated by the City of Malabon University, in partnership with Longos Elementary School. The graduation ceremony was held at the CMU – TAO Hall.

The E-Nanay Tutorials v2.0, spearheaded by Prof. Maria Luisa V. Tongco, Dean – College of Teacher Education, is an initiative that educates parents (mostly moms) of elementary students in utilizing essential software and gadgets needed for their children’s online classes.

With the help of OJT students from CMU, the latest batch of E-Nanay graduates can now keep up with the fast-paced technology that used to be a challenge for them, due to their lack of skills needed and full understanding of e-learning tools and applications.

The ceremony commenced with a doxology, singing of the National Anthem, and opening remarks courtesy of Malabon City Mayor and CMU’s University President, Hon. Antolin ‘Lenlen’ A. Oreta III. City Councilor Enzo Oreta, who was not able to attend the event, has given some motivational words through a recorded video.

The OJT students also delivered a special intermission number for the E–Nanay graduates before their certificates were handed by Mayor Oreta and CMU VPAA, Melissa Grace S. Oreta. VP for Administration and Finance, Dr. Michael Darwin Domingo ended the ceremony with an inspiring closing remark.

Mrs. Rosell Dominguez, one of the E-Nanay program graduates, has shared that this program is a big assistance for the mothers of students who are not capable of using the technology, especially at these times when the world is rapidly adapting to technological advancements.

From us all, we congratulate the E-Nanay program graduates! We salute you!
