CMU University President Prof. Melissa Grace Sison-Oreta spearheaded the launching of CMU Alumni Networks during the 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming Celebration.
In her inspirational message, she congratulated and thanked all the CMU alumni for visiting their alma mater and for supporting the university’s programs and projects. She also emphasized the importance of CMU Alumni Network for the university and for its alumni.
“We put value in democratizing CMU. For us, it is not about who has the loudest voice, but it is about the voice of the majority that needs to be heard. That’s why it is not just one, but a network of student organizations wherein every single student should enjoy it,” she said.
Prof. Oreta added that alumni students are the keys in giving flavor to their bond and their network; and that they will be forever part of the university’s journey and progress.
The university officials also showcased during the homecoming the improvements on innovative and transformative education that will surely be remembered by the next CMU alumni generations.
