Issue regarding CMU’s mismanagement of students’ files and documents in the Records and Filing Room caught our attention.
Upon taking office, the new CMU management has worked relentlessly in ensuring the orderliness and legality of all transactions and processes.
To ensure proper documentation and to put all files in order, the present Office of the University Registrar handling the Records and Filing Room have worked and achieved the following:
– creation of Committee on Inventory of Records
– designation of manpower to organize the documents
– procurement of filing cabinets and necessary materials for the organization of documents
– 10% of student record files left in the classrooms have already been properly recorded and filed
You can be assured that we continue to work double time to take corrective action not only to achieve an orderly system but also have legal procedures in place.
