The City of Malabon University (CMU) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its ISO 9001:2015 First Surveillance Audit, conducted by external auditors from TÜV Rheinland Philippines from October 6 to 8, 2026.
Through the collective effort and dedication of the entire CMU community, the university achieved outstanding audit results:
0 Non-Conformities
4 Positive Observations
6 Opportunities for Improvement
This stellar outcome is a strong testament to CMU’s robust Quality Management System and its unwavering commitment to maintaining standardized organizational processes. The zero non-compliance rating highlights the institution’s strict adherence to international quality standards, while the 6 Opportunities for Improvement will serve as valuable guides for further refining and elevating its academic and administrative services.
The rigorous audit day on October 6, 2026, began with a standardized opening meeting led by University President Dr. Glen De Leon and the executive management committee. Comprehensive evaluations were then conducted across multiple departments, with Dr. William Enrique, VP for Academic Affairs, the College Deans, and Program Chairs actively participating in the review of the Undergraduate School’s curriculum development and instructional delivery. Crucial support units, including Student Affairs, Admission, General Services, Information Systems, and Planning and Development, were also thoroughly assessed.
Throughout the process, CMU officials and personnel worked closely and transparently with the auditors to present the university’s operational records and quality initiatives.
Congratulations to all the hardworking teaching and non-teaching personnel who made this remarkable milestone possible! Their dedication ensures that CMU continues to deliver top-quality education to its students and stakeholders.
Padayon, CMU!
